Job summary

Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst specialized in embedded software to execute established test plans, manage release validation, and drive high-quality releases for safety-critical edge computing platforms.

You will collaborate across engineering, build/test environments, and CI pipelines, applying manual and automated testing, Python scripting, and C/C++ debugging to ensure robust software before shipment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional QA experience in embedded software environments.
• Hardware setup/assembly and troubleshooting; comfortable with Linux and Windows (RTOS exposure is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the release/test cycle and its execution: conduct manual and automated tests; track outcomes; publish quality reports and status updates.
• Verify release packages and documentation are complete and compliant with processes; maintain the release repository (artifacts, documentation, dependencies, credentials, notification lists).
• Build and maintain Windows/Linux build server VMs; install toolchains; perform health checks; resolve environment issues to keep testing productive.
