Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Product Manager for Embedded Payments in New Jersey. You will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, driving customer value, scalable platforms, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Technology, Design and Analytics.

You will own the product backlog, define goals and KPIs, and partner with engineering to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions while navigating a complex, highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial services and/or product management.
• Deep experience in fintech or payments with knowledge of payment flows and wallets.
• Proven track record in large matrixed orgs and navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Leadership in building scalable platforms and customer-centric innovation.
• Strong verbal and written communication; experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and Agile product development lifecycle.
• Experience managing risk and controls at scale.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering/Business or similar field.

As a Product Manager within Embedded Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Design and Analytics partners to develop and deliver product and platform strategies from 0-1
• Own and manage the product delivery lifecycle from ideation to production.
• Define product goals, with clear requirements and KPIs that can be converted into user stories and process flows for the development team and other stakeholders
• Work closely with developers and testers to ensure the team correctly translates requirements into working technical designs, test plans and scripts to serve customer needs
• Conduct pre-release reviews which could include regression testing and quality assurance to certify the release as production ready
• Manage product backlog creation and grooming, support agile product delivery, launch and go to market for product, production support, issue & defect resolution and prioritization
• Monitor performance against goals, identify and scope implementation paths for needed enhancements, and create remediation plans when needed
• Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 7+ years of experience in financial services and/or product management
• Deep experience in the financial technology or payments industry, with a strong understanding of payment flows, digital wallets, and money movement.
• Proven track record of driving change and delivering results within large, highly matrixed organizations; adept at navigating ambiguity and structuring complex problems.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills; able to influence and align cross-functional and executive teams.
• Demonstrated leadership in building scalable platforms and driving customer-centric innovation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing risk and controls at scale.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable field of study.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Candidates with Fintech background or payment platform experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
