Job summary
ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION LLC is seeking an experienced firmware engineer in Mountain View to design and implement network-capable software for embedded systems.
The role requires 3-7 years of hands-on experience in C and C++, familiarity with Linux kernel and drivers, and experience with embedded Linux distributions such as Yocto or Buildroot, plus Ethernet networking and network switching ASICs.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in relevant field.
- Strong C and C++ programming skills.
- Familiar with Linux kernel and drivers.
- Experience with embedded Linux (Yocto or Buildroot) is required.
- Experience with Ethernet/IP networking and network switching ASICs (Broadcom/Marvell/Microchip).
- Basic electrical engineering fundamentals for low-level debugging.
- Desirable: PTP, RTOS, safety and security concepts.
