ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION LLC is seeking an experienced firmware engineer in Mountain View to design and implement network-capable software for embedded systems.
The role requires 3-7 years of hands-on experience in C and C++, familiarity with Linux kernel and drivers, and experience with embedded Linux distributions such as Yocto or Buildroot, plus Ethernet networking and network switching ASICs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Required Qualifications 3-7 years of experience Good understanding of C and C++ Familiarity with Linux kernel and drivers Understanding of at least one embedded Linux distribution(le. Yocto or Buildroot) Good understanding of Ethernet, IP, and higher levels of networking Hardware-based ethernet packet processors (VLANs, Filtering engines, TCAMs, etc) Deep familiarity with features of at least one network switching ASICs is a must (Broadcom Marvell, or Microchip switches preferred). Basic knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to support low level debugging Desirable knowledge PTP (Precision Time Protocols) RTOS Safety + Security Concepts.
