Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. seeks a software engineer to design and implement full‑stack software architecture for missile system applications including guidance, navigation, and mission planning. You will participate in design reviews and collaborate across teams to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, C/C++ proficiency, and ability to obtain an Active Secret clearance. Experience with Python/Java and real-time embedded systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0+ or higher.
• At least 2 years of relevant technical experience.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrable experience with C/C++ required.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and systems-level thinking.
• Experience with software configuration management, quality engineering, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and implementation of full-stack software architecture for missile system applications (guidance, navigation, control, telemetry, mission planning).
• Participate in technical reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support decisions on tools, frameworks, and development approaches.
• Develop software promoting modularity, reuse, portability, and maintainability.
• Engage in frequent communication with team members.
• Support flight test operations and post-test analysis.
• Develop software adhering to safety, cybersecurity, and RMF standards.
