You will navigate complex agreements, regulatory issues, and IP allocation while collaborating with the broader Legal team to support responsible AI development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of life sciences transactional legal experience.
• Experience with AI/ML companies in regulated settings.
• Familiarity with biosecurity, dual-use research, or export control.
• Strong negotiation and drafting of IP and research agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key strategic advisor to life science teams on complex research, development, and commercial matters globally.
• Drive high deal volume with life science and biopharma counterparties across various agreement types.
• Identify and manage regulatory risks in coordination with the Legal department.
• Design scalable guidance and processes for fast-growing life science efforts.
• Provide strategic guidance to leadership on AI regulatory developments.
