Job summary

G MASS is seeking an Information Barriers Consultant in New York to manage a mature information barriers programme within a leading global financial services firm. This role offers substantial ownership of the programme, allowing you to engage across various teams and ensure compliance with established controls.

The successful candidate will have experience in compliance and access governance, managing a robust workload while working closely with senior stakeholders. This is a long-term position with the potential for permanent employment after the initial contract.

Qualifications

• Direct experience managing an information barriers programme is strongly preferred.
• Experience within a regulated financial services environment is advantageous.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a broad, concurrent BAU workload.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end management of the firm's information barrier controls.
• Coordinate the addition of new information barriers across systems and teams.
• Monitor daily exception reports and investigate anomalies.
• Manage physical IB controls including badge and door access.
• Conduct annual audits of Compliance Firewall groups.
