Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an Image Processing Software Engineer to develop, implement, debug, and test video processing applications and embedded software for defense-related unmanned systems and test platforms.

The role involves implementing video compression and image processing controls on embedded processors and developing FPGA-based image processing drivers and algorithms, with collaboration across hardware and software teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development for imaging systems.
• Embedded Linux experience required.
• Proficient in C/C++ and GStreamer.
• Experience with I2C/UART/USB/MIPI and lab test equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and utilize testing hardware such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Implement video compression and image processing controls on embedded processors.
• Develop and implement drivers and control algorithms for FPGA-based image processing.
• Assist in selecting interface and support hardware (Microprocessors/Microcontrollers and support devices).
• Interface with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, systems, and program managers.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex electronic and software designs with EE teams.
• May interact with customers, suppliers, and users of the devices.
