Job summary

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our R&D team in Gdańsk, Poland. The role focuses on validating security sensors, peripheral devices, and embedded hardware across wired and wireless portfolios, ensuring functional correctness and robustness.

You will create test plans, execute device-level tests in lab and field environments, and collaborate with engineering, product management, and compliance teams. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics or related technical field.
• Experience in Quality Assurance for hardware, embedded, or electromechanical products.
• Hands-on device-level testing in lab or field environments.
• Ability to translate product and system requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice.

Responsibilities

• Validate functional behavior of security devices
• Validate device behavior across normal operation, fault conditions, power-up, reset, recovery scenarios
• Verify battery performance and power consumption profiles
• Perform environmental and robustness testing
• Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence
• Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation
• Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams
