Job summary

Orr Group embeds teams inside nonprofits to support their fundraising efforts alongside them. As an Associate Director, you are a core part of these teams.

You will help shape the fundraising strategies that move our clients' missions forward by producing and supporting the plans, strategies, and materials the team delivers to nonprofit leaders. You will also keep those engagements running by tracking milestones, timelines, and budgets, and keeping the team aligned and on track.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of nonprofit fundraising or related consulting experience.
• 2+ years managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Excellent writing and communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to balance priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with donor research and analytics is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and fundraising software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and timely delivery of client materials.
• Manage workstreams, dashboards, and campaign roadmaps.
• Ensure deliverables align with contract scope and goals.
• Participate in regular client meetings and build relationships.
• Track milestones, timelines, and budgets for engagements.
• Mentor Associates and provide quality assurance.
• Contribute to process improvements and onboarding.
