Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Physics or related field with 5–10 years in embedded flight systems.
• 5–10 years of C/C++ in bare-metal/RTOS/embedded Linux environments.
• Deep hardware/software integration, debugging, and use of test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain embedded flight software features, device drivers, and system improvements.
• Analyze I/O timing and data throughput on hardware/software architectures.
• Coordinate with hardware/avionics for software integration and board bring-up.
• Draft automated unit, integration, and regression tests for flight logic.
• Coordinate functional testing on flat-sats, HWIL setups, and simulators.
• Implement autonomous FDIR routines to handle radiation-induced resets or bit-flips.
• Other duties as assigned.
