Job summary

L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems seeks an Embedded Software Integration Engineer for Wilmington, MA to design, develop and test flight software for space payloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience; OR Graduate Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Professional experience in embedded systems integration & test (software/hardware).
• 2 years experience with C/C++, Python, Linux, RTOS.
• Professional hands-on experience with HIL/SIL.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement algorithms, controls, and subsystems for aerospace applications.
• Oversee the full software lifecycle from development to testing and mission operation.
• Work with HIL/SIL environments to ensure robust testing of aerospace systems.
• Lead in refining requirements, creating user stories, and driving designs in Agile teams.
• Configure and document multi-device hardware/software systems under test.
