Job summary

Bridge Technical Talent is seeking a Firmware QA Engineer to ensure quality of embedded firmware across the development lifecycle. You will work with hardware and firmware teams to design and execute automated tests, implement HIL automation, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 2–5 years’ experience, and proficiency in Python and Robot Framework, with familiarity in Jira/Xray and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test cases to validate firmware functionality using Python and Robot Framework.
• Create detailed test plans and ensure requirements traceability with Jira/Xray.
• Design and implement Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) automation frameworks for firmware on hardware platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency.
• Debug and analyze system behavior with firmware developers.
• Log, track and verify defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain a specialized HIL test lab and manage lab equipment.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and document results for verification and validation.
