Job summary

Google in Boulder, CO is hiring a Software Engineering Manager focused on low-level embedded software for ChromeOS devices. You will scope work, lead a team of engineers, guide bootloader / embedded controller software, and contribute to open-source coreboot and Zephyr OS projects.

You will collaborate with ODMs/OEMs and SoC vendors, manage a large product budget across sites, and help drive new device bring-ups while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience with embedded operating systems.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Responsibilities
