Meta is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for AR/VR and wearable devices, covering kernel, drivers, and connectivity stacks. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• 7+ years software development or PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years embedded software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components at all layers including kernel, synchronization primitives, memory management, and I/O systems.
• Develop drivers and services for constrained environments with low latency and high bandwidth.
• Lead hardware bring up, peripheral drivers, silicon integration, and power/performance optimization.
• Debug complex system-level issues spanning kernel to application layers.
• Profile and optimize performance across the software stack.
• Integrate components from multiple teams into a unified code base.
