Job summary

V2X is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer 1 to develop firmware and embedded software for microcontrollers and SoCs, and to collaborate with hardware engineers on PCB design. You will write low-level drivers and participate in hardware bring-up and testing.

The role requires hands-on experience with RTOS and debugging tools, and close collaboration with the hardware team to ensure robust embedded solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in embedded systems engineer.
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks)
• Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analysers)

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware and embedded software for microcontrollers and SoCs.
• Write low-level drivers for peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO)
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging and board-level testing
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on PCB design and schematics
