Job summary

Vitesse Systems in Webster, TX is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs, and to write low-level drivers for peripherals. You will collaborate with hardware engineers on PCB design and bring-up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant embedded systems experience.
• Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
• Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware and embedded software for microcontrollers and SoCs.
• Write low-level drivers for peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO).
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging and board-level testing.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on PCB design and schematics.
