Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Coursework/internship/co-op/project using C++ and OO programming concepts.
• Foundational understanding of embedded systems, firmware, computer architecture, OS, or related software concepts.
• Willingness to learn the software development life cycle from requirements to verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software using C++ and OO programming principles.
• Learn how real-time firmware components interface with hardware while supporting safety, reliability, determinism, and testability.
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and firmware teams to translate requirements into tasks.
• Participate in design and code reviews to apply coding standards and best practices.
• Work in an Agile environment with sprint planning and continuous improvement.
