Job summary

Alliance Laundry System LLC seeks an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and test firmware for electronic controls on commercial laundry equipment. The role is based in Ripon, WI, and involves collaborating with labs, production, and design teams to ensure robust firmware releases.

Minimum 3 years in embedded firmware, strong C skills, and experience with UART/I2C/EEPROM; familiarity with Lua, UI tools, and testing practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields required.
• At least 3 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
• Prior project management experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware using C for front-end control boards of washing machines, washers, tumblers, and dryers.
• Design and implement embedded firmware solutions for reliable product functionality.
• Create detailed test specifications for embedded control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering labs to validate firmware on prototypes and production systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve firmware issues.
• Work with peripherals like UART, I2C, ADC, PWM, EEPROM.
