Job summary

Amazon Inc. is looking for an Embedded Software Dev Engineer to join the AWS Hardware Engineering team.

You will design and implement embedded firmware for power infrastructure across millions of servers, driving security, reliability, and operational excellence for AI/ML workloads. You will collaborate with hardware, validation, and services teams, mentor peers, and help advance the firmware stack across our data center fleet.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
Experience in embedded development in C/C++.
Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for SDLC, code reviews, source control, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop firmware solutions for AWS servers powering millions of customer workloads.
Lead the complete development lifecycle from conception through production deployment.
Architect and implement firmware deployment strategies prioritizing security and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, validation, and software services.
Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into the firmware stack.
Drive secure, efficient, and scalable firmware solutions for AWS infrastructure.
Mentor teammates and improve development processes and tooling.
