Role Description
The Embedded Firmware Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tucson, AZ. This role involves designing, implementing, and testing embedded firmware and software for industrial data acquisition, control, and signal conditioning products. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing code for microcontrollers and embedded systems, debugging and resolving firmware issues, and collaborating closely with electrical and hardware engineering teams to integrate firmware with new and existing products. The engineer will participate in design reviews, create technical documentation, and support product validation and verification activities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining existing firmware platforms, contributing to product improvements, and ensuring designs meet quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
