Casca is hiring in San Francisco for Forward Deployed Engineer roles, including FDE and Senior FDE/Tech Lead. You will work directly with bank operators, learn their workflows deeply, and build software that changes how they work.

Expect 70% building and 30% embedded with customers, with a tech stack including TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Python, AWS, Azure, and AI/LLMs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript, React and Next.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Prisma for data access.
• Strong Python experience and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure).
• Previous work shipping end-to-end software with customer impact.
• Comfortable working on-site with clients (bank operators).

Responsabilités

• Embed on-site with bank teams, alongside underwriters and operators.
• Translate workflows into software on Casca's platform and extend it to new use cases.
• Deploy AI-powered systems and iterate quickly on real user feedback in production.
• Migrate customers from legacy systems to modern scalable solutions.
• Own the lifecycle end-to-end from problem definition to deployment and feed learnings back into the platform.
