Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Embedded Middleware Engineer to join our client on next generation connected devices. The role involves embedded systems development, middleware frameworks, and C programming in resource constrained environments, operating within Linux-based embedded systems.

Collaboration with SoC vendor software teams and networking (IP, WiFi, HTTP) will be key. A strong debugging skill set and familiarity with SoC software from Broadcom/Qualcomm are desirable for this

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong knowledge of middleware frameworks.
• Proficient in C programming for constrained environments.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems.
• Familiar with SoC vendor software (Broadcom, Qualcomm).
• Understanding of IP networking fundamentals, WiFi protocols, and HTTP.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Strong hands on experience in embedded systems development.

• Good understanding of middleware frameworks

• Solid knowledge of C programming in a resource constrained environment.

• Experience working with System on Chip (SoC) vendor software (e.g. Broadcom, Qualcomm).

• Understanding of:

• o IP networking fundamentals

• o Wi Fi packet protocols & wireless communication
