Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Mossville, IL is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer – Engine Controls to join our team onsite.

This full-time role covers the complete software lifecycle from development to bench testing and collaboration with platform, machine, and display software teams. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of embedded software experience, strong C programming skills, and experience with Model-Based Development, debugging, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with an embedded software focus.
• 5+ years of professional industry experience.
• Proficiency in C programming, Model-Based Development, and embedded control software development.
• Familiarity with debuggers and strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to share technical information and development progress within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and develop verification criteria
• Develop embedded software library activities
• Configure and build embedded software, including design, development, and validation of software flash files for application teams
• Create, execute, and document test plans
• Set up and configure test bench hardware and software
• Complete mandatory and feature-specific testing using manual and automated methods
• Troubleshoot software and system defects and provide customer support for system and software issues
