The role focuses on software-in-the-loop testing and automation for embedded control systems in diesel engine programs. You will collaborate with an application lead, systems and validation engineers, software architects, and developers in a primarily office-based environment with desk development equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with embedded software focus.
• 3+ years of industry experience in C programming, Model-Based Development, and embedded control software.
• Familiarity with debuggers and strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements for embedded electronic control systems.
• Develop embedded software library activities, test scripts, and test automation.
• Configure, integrate, and build embedded software.
• Create, execute, and document test plans in bench and simulation environments.
• Set up and configure test bench hardware and software.
• Complete mandatory and feature-specific testing using manual and automated methods.
• Troubleshoot software and system defects and provide customer support.
• Support application teams in designing, developing, and validating software flash files.
