Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Mossville, IL is seeking an Energy Electronics Software Engineer to join our team onsite. The role focuses on software-in-the-loop testing and automation for embedded control systems in diesel engine programs.

You will work with an application lead, systems engineers, validation engineers, software architects, and developers in an office environment with desk development equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with an embedded software focus is required.
• 3+ years of industry experience in C programming, Model-Based Development, and embedded control software development (internships do not count toward experience).
• Familiarity with debuggers and strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements for embedded electronic control systems.
• Develop embedded software library activities, test scripts, and test automation.
• Configure, integrate, and build embedded software.
• Create, execute, and document test plans, verifying software in bench and simulation environments.
• Set up and configure test bench hardware and software.
• Complete mandatory and feature-specific testing using both manual and automated methods.
• Troubleshoot software and system defects and provide customer support for system and software issues.
• Support application teams in designing, developing, and validating software flash files.
