Job summary

Collaborative Robotics in Santa Clara is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design, integration, and debugging of our robotic systems. You will spearhead the development of the electrical system, select cutting-edge technologies, and drive reliability in cutting-edge robots.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring designs from prototype to production, ensuring seamless integration into human environments and a fast-paced startup culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional electrical design experience.
• 7+ years in electrical/electronic design, preferably robotics.
• Experience selecting sensors for complex electromechanical products.
• US work authorization required.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, supply chain, software, firmware, and manufacturing, to debug and refine full system designs
• Drive the development of testing and validation methodologies to guarantee the efficacy and safety of our electrical systems
• Engage with partner engineering teams to streamline the electrical design process, from component selection to PCB layout and system bring-up
