Horton, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Roseville, MN. The role focuses on embedded systems development, control optimization, and circuit design for low voltage DC applications.

Responsibilities include leading engineering analyses, implementing controls, and interfacing with customers. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 0–5 years of experience are required; travel up to 5% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 0–5 years of experience.
• Travel up to 5% of time.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist embedded systems development for new and existing products.
• Design and optimize closed-loop control and algorithms.
• Develop and layout circuit boards, substrates, and electrical harnesses for low voltage DC applications.
• Work with CAN per SAE J1939 across networks and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Travel to customer locations to observe applications and gather requirements.
