Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support embedded software delivery, focusing on build automation, CI, and release readiness. You will collaborate with embedded engineers, test teams, and product managers to implement DevOps best practices across the SDLC.

The role emphasizes pipeline health, automation-first development, and alignment with security and quality standards within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience is required.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required; no visa sponsorship.
Experience with Jenkins for CI and automation of build/test workflows.
Experience with GitLab for source code management and collaboration.
Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform).
Familiarity with agile delivery environments (Scrum/SAFe).
Experience supporting embedded software teams and CI/CD for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Work in a DevOps team supporting embedded software programs across the full SDLC.
Collaborate with engineers, test, architects, product managers, and QA teams.
Promote DevOps best practices: pipelines, reproducibility, artifact management, automation.
Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot build/integration failures.
Assist release management for embedded software deliverables and audit readiness.
Ensure workflows align with security and product quality requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement through retrospectives and tooling enhancements.
