Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing embedded software.
• Automation & scripting proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and strong scripting (Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Linux-based development and deployment environments familiarity.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Team player able to support a fast-paced engineering team of 7-10 members.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Build quality infrastructure: design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for core software components (unit, integration, system tests).
• Architect CI/CD pipelines: develop and manage robust pipelines using Jenkins and Artifactory for build, test, and deployment.
• Champion software excellence: implement code reviews, static analysis, and test coverage metrics.
• Collaborate with developers: work with a team of 7-10 engineers to identify, debug, and resolve defects early in the lifecycle.
• Optimize Linux environments: oversee build and deployment processes for Linux-based systems for reliability and performance.
• Document processes: create clear docs for testing and deployment workflows to support growth.
