Job summary

Trebellar, Inc. in San Francisco seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers and tackle data ingestion and analysis for complex CRE datasets.

You will be the bridge between customer tech teams and Trebellar's core engineers, scoping, building, and delivering features with a Forward Deployed Consultant.

This role requires strong communication, data processing expertise, and comfort with cloud, Docker, k8s, and TS stacks in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience, 5+ in data ingestion and manipulation (ETL, import/export API design).
• Ability to understand and analyze complex data sets and debug complex scenarios.
• Experience with high-volume data ingestion and processing, real-time and batch.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills as a customer-facing engineer.
• Self-driven, startup mindset with collaboration across teams.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with common JS/TS stacks.
• Backend/API development skills and solid data processing architecture understanding.
• Familiarity with Cloud/Docker/Kubernetes and related DevOps technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion and analysis for customers, adapting to complex needs.
• You will serve as the main contact between customer tech teams and Trebellar engineers.
• You will work with Forward Deployed Consultants and Trebellar product teams to scope, build, implement and deliver features.
