Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and validate security for automotive and embedded systems. You will translate requirements into robust, tamper-resistant solutions, and collaborate with hardware and software teams.

Key tasks include threat modeling, secure communication, and validation through testing and code reviews, using industry standards like ISO/SAE 21434. Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded cybersecurity and secure embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS.
• Knowledge of Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, Encryption, Authentication, and Key Management.
• Experience with AUTOSAR security concepts and automotive ECUs.
• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and TARA.
• Experience with HSM and cryptographic concepts.
• Experience in cybersecurity testing, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer and embedded debugging tools.
• Experience with Git and Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate cybersecurity features for embedded systems.
• Perform threat analysis and identify security vulnerabilities.
• Implement secure communication and authentication mechanisms.
• Support cybersecurity testing and validation of embedded ECUs.
• Work with software and hardware teams to resolve security issues.
• Prepare cybersecurity requirements, design documentation, and test reports.
