Qualifications

  • Experience in object-oriented design and analysis using C++ and MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with control development and calibration tools (dSpace, Vector CANalyzer, ETAS INCA, ATI Vision).
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Experience with software version control tools (Subversion, Git).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse global team and communicate designs clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages control system software for power systems per requirements.
  • Uses MATLAB/Simulink and/or C to create embedded control software.
  • Deploys control algorithms to embedded controllers (rapid prototyping and production ECU).
  • Creates software requirements, specs, and validation plans from system definitions.
  • Develops engineering test standards.
  • Acts as liaison between departments as needed.
  • Maintains software portfolio, including revision control and maintenance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
