Job summary

F3EA, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide embedded psychological services to Special Operations Forces personnel as part of the POTFF team. You will conduct assessments, deliver evidence-based treatment, and support resilience initiatives to improve readiness and performance.

The role requires licensure, APA-accredited training, and relevant military or high-performance population experience. Employment is contingent upon contract award and funding, with security considerations.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship or residency.
• Active, unrestricted psychology licensure in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to duties.
• At least two years of clinical practice in a mental health setting.
• Ability to meet government credentialing, privileging, health, and background-screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, testing, records, and collateral information.
• Establish diagnoses and provide evidence-based individual and group treatment within clinical privileges.
• Assess and manage behavioral health risk, including crisis response and safety planning.
• Develop and support prevention, resilience, and behavioral health programs for SOF personnel.
• Consult with POTFF professionals and leaders on psychological readiness while maintaining ethics and confidentiality.
• Maintain complete clinical records and required reports in line with standards.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement, peer review, and continuing education.

Education

PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology (APA-accredited)

APA-accredited internship or residency

Current license to practice psychology in US state/DC/PR/GU/USVI

Current Basic Life Support certification
