Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks a BSP Software Engineer to design, develop, debug, and maintain BSP, Linux kernel, QNX, and driver software for next‑gen embedded platforms. You will support board bring‑up, bootloader enablement, OS integration, and validation, while collaborating across hardware and software teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in embedded software (C/C++, Python) with strong Linux/QNX experience, and familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and USB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of embedded software experience in C/C++, Python, Linux, QNX environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel development, device drivers, and embedded OS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and maintain BSP, Linux kernel, QNX, and device driver software for embedded platforms.
• Support board bring-up, bootloader enablement, OS integration, hardware/software validation and platform feature development.
• Collaborate across hardware, Android, platform software, integration, and validation teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests within Agile, CI/CD environments.
