Ford Motor Company is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Audio Management frameworks within its next-generation infotainment products. You will design, develop, integrate, and validate audio software features across the software life cycle for Ford infotainment platforms.

You will work with domain architects, senior engineers, and distributed teams to deliver reliable audio solutions, contribute to Android AOSP modifications, HALs, and Linux drivers, and optimize boot and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of Android AOSP in automotive/embedded/mobile environments.
• 2+ years in Android audio framework, media apps, or system services.
• 1+ year in in-vehicle signaling (CAN/Ethernet).
• Willing to work hybrid schedule onsite 4+ days a week.

Responsabilités

• Develop and integrate Android audio software for Ford infotainment.
• Design and implement Android Audio HAL, Audio Policy, and Linux audio interfaces.
• Support end-to-end audio quality with partner and test teams.
• Collaborate on audio solutions for virtualized environments (QNX, Automotive Linux).
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and stability issues.
• Optimize boot-up performance and system responsiveness.
