Job summary

Reef Systems is seeking a fully qualified Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support the 79th RQS at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. The ATC will provide clinical management and performance optimization under DHA guidelines with physician collaboration.

The role involves evaluating and treating operators, developing conditioning programs, and preventing injuries while maintaining records. Regular hours are Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00 with possible after-hours tasks to support mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with recency within last 2 years and 5+ years of experience in collegiate, professional, or tactical athletics.
• Master’s degree in a related health field and a Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) certification.
• Current CPR and AED certification and ability to operate under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat operators and aircrew to enhance performance and readiness.
• Design and implement strength and conditioning programs to reduce injury risk.
• Instruct patients on therapeutic regimens and rehabilitation maintenance.
• Coordinate fitness and medical readiness and maintain care records per DHA policy.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and prepare reports for leadership.
