Job summary

Accenture Security seeks a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with client teams and embed within enterprises to secure production AI systems. You will own outcomes such as reduced attack surface, production-safe AI deployments, and measurable security posture improvements.

You will use AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as your primary delivery environment to build security tooling, detection systems, and governance frameworks. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with a cybersecurity discipline depth in at least one area (AppSec, SecOps/detection, cloud security, IAM, offensive security, or GRC).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production.
• Minimum 8 years of end-to-end security delivery ownership in client-embedded or production environments.
• Minimum 8 years of cloud security fundamentals across AWS, Azure, or GCP (IAM, network security, secrets management).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; associate degree with 6+ years of work experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments.
• Deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools as the primary build environment.
• Own AI-specific threat surface management across programmes and OWASP LLM Top 10 controls.
• Architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack including IAM and data pipelines.
• Lead AI governance framework implementation (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, model risk management).
• Shape reinvention security strategy for client CISO/CTO and publish reusable patterns and playbooks.
• Lead architecture design sessions, threat modeling workshops, and code-with sessions with client teams.
• Provide cybersecurity domain expertise in at least one discipline (AppSec, SecOps, IAM, cloud, GRC, or offensive security).
• Support proposal development, solution shaping, and client engagements; facilitate executive workshops.
• Travel may be required (0-100%).
