Job summary

NXP’s TrustMotion group is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to help build advanced embedded and automotive solutions. You will work at the intersection of embedded software and AI, creating software for embedded platforms and deploying AI-powered solutions to hardware.

You will develop, bring-up boards, implement BSPs, and drive system integration and AI workloads on embedded targets, with ongoing debugging and performance optimization across hardware and software layers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded software development experience.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models on embedded hardware.
• Understanding of SoC and MCU architectures.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux and low-level software concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software and BSP components.
• Perform board bring-up and integrate software on embedded hardware.
• Deploy, integrate, and run AI models on embedded targets.
• Debug and troubleshoot software and system issues on hardware.
• Analyze system behavior and identify potential improvements.
