Job summary

Hammerspace seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to be embedded with Lighthouse accounts, solving complex data challenges at the edge of AI and HPC workloads. This role blends software depth, architectural vision, and business development to bridge customer needs with the Hammerspace platform.

The position is hybrid, based in the Dallas, TX area, with a focus on accelerated data access and GPU-oriented pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Deep Customer Embedding: Act as the primary technical authority on-site, becoming an expert in the customer’s domain to identify and resolve real-world friction points before they elevate.
• AI & Workload Optimization: Design and implement data architectures that accelerate AI/ML training pipelines, ensuring low-latency data access across hybrid-cloud environments.
• The Enhanced Resident: Build custom integrations, automation scripts, and last-mile solutions that bridge the core product and client infrastructure.
• Business Cultivation: Identify new business problems and expansion opportunities to drive account growth with the Named CSM.
• Engineering Shield & Feedback Loop: Translate field bugs into core product features for global strengths.
• Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical hurdles into clear insights for data scientists, IT admins, and executives.
