Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks a Senior Business Analyst - Agriculture to lead embedded data and business analysis for a strategic agricultural client.

You’ll work on site with operations, agronomy, and analytics teams, translating data from ASI's autonomy platform and farm systems into actionable decisions that boost efficiency and autonomous system performance. In this hybrid role, you’ll blend technical data access and insightful judgment to influence engineering and business choices

Responsibilities

• Work on site with the customer regularly, building trusted relationships with operations leadership and data teams.
• Act as ASI's on-the-ground analytic partner—surface operation needs, not assumptions.
• Bring field learnings back to ASI so product, engineering, and business teams work from ground truth.
• Present findings and recommendations to customer and ASI leadership in clear, decision-ready terms.
• Identify existing data across ASI and customer systems, where it lives, and how to access it.
• Coordinate and secure data access with stakeholders and third-party providers.
• Combine ASI autonomy data with customer sources like farm management platforms and yield records.
• Reconcile and validate data across systems and document sources and gaps.
• Analyze machine and fleet performance: utilization, acres, hours, downtime, and trends.
• Link changes in the autonomous system to measurable operational outcomes.
• Identify trends and anomalies; form hypotheses and test them.
• Explore higher-order questions as data matures, like wear vs patterns.
• Partner with teams to build Total Cost of Ownership models for deployments.
• Quantify labor impact, productivity gains, cost per acre, and uptime value.
• Translate analyses into business cases and value narratives for customer expansion.
• Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards with the data platform team.
• Prioritize high-value questions; show impact before moving on.
• Identify manual analyses to automate and specify for the data team.
• Use modern analytics and AI tools and share effective practices.
