The role requires hospitality experience, supervisory skills, and strong math. You will oversee safety, liquor compliance, guest satisfaction, and cross‑department collaboration in a fast‑paced events environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality coursework a plus.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (state regulations).
• Excellent communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and show initiative.
• Strong proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events with attention to Banquet Event Orders.
• Maintain appearance, service standards, and safety; be the policy/ liquor-law resource.
• Rally the team, assign tasks, run pre‑event huddles, train new recruits.
• Bridge Sales, Catering and guests; resolve issues and prevent accidents.
• Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, beverage service, and cash handling.
• Support AV, attend meetings, help out where needed, manage Lost and Found, and maintain security.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field is a plus
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with state regulations)
