NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Embalmer at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary in San Diego, CA to honor the dignity of the deceased and comfort families during their time of loss.

This role requires a California Embalmer license or reciprocal licensure, 2+ years of funeral industry experience, and knowledge of applicable regulations. Compensation is $29–$32.50 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance, and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• Current Embalmer license in the state California or ability to reciprocate.
• 2+ years of funeral industry experience.
• Knowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry.

Responsibilities

• Care for the deceased in a respectful manner.
• Perform embalming, disinfecting, dressing, preparing, and casketing of the deceased using appropriate precautions and OSHA standards.
