Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Embalmer to join our team at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary in San Diego, CA. The Embalmer will perform embalming and related preservation duties to uphold the dignity of the deceased and comfort families.

Candidates must hold a current Embalmer license in California (or be eligible for reciprocity) and have at least 2 years of funeral industry experience, with knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Embalmer license in California or reciprocity.
• Minimum 2 years of funeral industry experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry.

Responsibilities

• Care for the deceased with respect and compassion.
