Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Embalmer to join our team at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary in San Diego, CA. The Embalmer will work with a compassionate team to preserve dignity and provide respectful care for the deceased.

Responsibilities include embalming, disinfection, dressing, preparing, and casketing while following OSHA standards and regulations. CA license or reciprocity is required, with 2+ years of experience in the funeral industry.

Qualifications

• Current Embalmer license in California or ability to reciprocate.
• 2+ years of funeral industry experience.
• Knowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside an incredible team that is passionate about our industry.
• Care for the deceased in a respectful manner.
• Perform embalming, disinfecting, dressing, preparing, and casketing of the deceased using appropriate precautions and OSHA standards.
