The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and mortuary education, with a strong emphasis on safety, compassion, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from accredited mortuary college or as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Embalm deceased with care and respect, including restorations and dressing, hair styling, and cosmetics.
• Verify identification and embalming authorization; complete removals and transfers.
• Assist with preparation room maintenance and facility cleanliness; handle hazardous materials per MSDS.
