Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY is seeking an Embroidery Operator for the 2nd shift at our McClellan Park facility in California. You will load designs, align placements, hoop fabrics, and run Tajima machinery to produce high-quality embroidered products for customers.

Responsibilities include meeting daily safety, quality and productivity targets, assisting with pre/post production tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years' experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience in Excel.
• Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tajima embroidery machinery; no prior machine experience required to apply.
• Work with area Supervisor and team leads to achieve daily safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals.
• Execute the daily schedule including pre- and post-production needs.
• Inspect all products for order specification accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

WORK HOURS

Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10:00pm Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements

Mandatory overtime may include some Saturdays and Sundays.

Base Pay

Base Pay : 2nd Shift $19.85

As a member of the Production Team , our Embroidery Operators are responsible for ensuring the embroidery process for all our products in our facility. You'll handle gathering the designs, loading them into the machine, ensuring proper placement of design, hooping, and thread colors, and producing a quality finished product. The person in this role will be pivotal in setting the pace for our embroidery process and ensuring we deliver product on time to our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate Tajima Electronic Automatic Embroidery Machinery - no previous experience on the machines needed to apply
• Work with area Supervisor and team leads on achieving daily goals of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Execute the daily schedule, including pre-production and post-production needs
• Inspect all products for accuracy of order specifications
• Trouble shoot any issues with machines as needed
• Always keep a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed and maintain excellent attendance
