Job summary

State Street is seeking a Product Security Engineer / Architect – Email Security to lead the strategy, architecture, and engineering of enterprise email security. You will protect the organization from phishing, BEC, malware, and other threats in collaboration with global teams.

The role reports to the Defensive Engineering leadership in Global Cyber Security, with hybrid work and a competitive salary range. Strong experience with major email security platforms and certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security architecture.
• 5+ years hands-on with email security technologies and threat protection solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or Microsoft Security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise email security strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Lead the evaluation, implementation, and continuous improvement of email security technologies and controls.
• Collaborate with the CDC to enhance detection, investigation, and response capabilities for email threats.
• Drive integration of email security solutions with SIEM, SOAR, identity, and threat intelligence solutions.
• Develop security standards, architectural patterns, and implementation guidance for email security controls.
