Job summary

Creative Cove Inc., a Greater Dallas based retail client, seeks an Email Marketing Specialist with 4+ years in email marketing. You will set up emails, manage data extensions, and upload proofs, with Marketing Cloud experience strongly preferred. This long-term, onsite role is 4 days a week with remote Fridays.

You will collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team to deploy segmented campaigns, analyze performance, and optimize communications related to promotions and events.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in email marketing and automation.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred.
• Strong data-driven approach and familiarity with email best practices.

Job description

Our Greater Dallas based retail client is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist with 4+ years experience in email marketing in a fast paced, dynamic environment-you'll be setting up emails, pulling data extensions, and uploading proofs--ideally looking for Marketing Cloud experience for this role which is long term and onsite 4 days a week, remote on Fridays.

As a member of the Digital Marketing Team, you will work closely with the Senior Email Marketing Specialist and Communications team to execute against the company’s email strategy and initiatives, deploying and tracking highly segmented outbound campaigns, market-specific email campaigns and digital communications related to promotions, events, and advertising. Ideally looking for a passion for using data, analytics and email best practices through Marketing Cloud

• Work with the Sr. Email Marketing Specialist and Communications team to develop a deep understanding of business model and communication calendars.
• Assist with all email campaigns, including loading lists, data extension creation, execution, testing, optimization, and follow-up.
• Troubleshoot system issues as they arise
• Ensure all email marketing campaigns are always targeting the right audiences with the right message at the right time
• Use data to constantly analyze, diagnose, and measure performance against expectations
• Maintain and manage ESP/Marketing Cloud contact database
• Adapt to existing processes and procedures, while staying current with programs to suggest new approaches to delivering better results
• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in email marketing and automation required
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office suite and an email marketing platform required; experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to work with technical, business development, creative, and marketing teams.
