Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University seeks a full-time physician to join the Emergency Medicine team at Hillsboro Medical Center. The role includes staffing the ED, teaching and providing patient care in a busy community ED with an academic blend, serving adults 18+ with a wide range of pathologies.

The appointee will participate in quality assurance activities and provide on-line medical consultation under supervision, contributing to teaching efforts for residents and APPs.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent is required.
• Emergency Medicine Residency Certificate.
• Current ACLS certification is required.
• ABEM or ABOEM board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Staff the Hillsboro Medical Center Emergency Department as assigned by the Chair.
• Participate in Emergency Department quality assurance activities.
• Provide on-line medical consultation as needed.
